SYM-hub
Sym-Hubs Have claimed to the best on the market. Unfortunately their high price has prevented many people from riding them. From the few people I have known who have ridden them, say they are super smooth and feel solid when they engage. They use a screw clutch system like normal free-coasters, however, they place the clutch underneath the driver and make it push into the hub shell.
There are three versions of the hub, all of which have:
- Sealed Bearing
- Skewer type axle
- Driver Clutch
- 48 hole drilling
- Perfect function Lifetime Guaranty
- 17 mm Internal steel axle
Exera:
- 14 tooth only
- $321.10
- Unreleased weight
Nexus:
- $424.94 – $481.60
- 14 tooth only
- 26.6 – 30.6 ounces
Elite:
- 13 – 16 tooth
- $557.23 – $623.35
- Black or silver
- 26.6 – 30.6 ounces
